After an somewhat expected brilliant bike ride of 4:39:16, what was a real surprise even to Jalabert was his blazing 3:11:38 marathon time, placing him 22nd overall on the day!"I am very pleased with my race today, it was wonderful!" smiled a very relaxed Jalabert. "Yes, I hope I qualify for Hawaii as I love doing Ironman now."Sharing handshakes with other finishers, it appears this first-time finisher will certainly be back to race again! Well done, Jalabert!
